After nine years of being a hokie, Seth Greenberg will have to find some new colors to wear. AD Jim “Fun is for sissys” Weaver announced today that Seth has been relieved of his duties. Most interesting is that Jim announced that it was not because of the lack of quality wins or tournament appearances, but something more personal. Rumors have been floating around that Seth was not well received by members of the athletics department and has had sour moments with the AD. We here at BTR wish him the best of luck.

After last night’s WVU’s jailhouse shower party for Clemson’s defense, we should all be worried about how our conference is viewed by the media and the general American public. Michelle Bachman has more people supporting her than the ACC right now. Clemson was the only team to manhandle our hokies all season, and they were just embarrassed on the largest ACC stage, the Orange Bowl. Our conference is a joke and I think it will be next to impossible to see more than one (if that many) ACC teams appear on the pre-season top 25. The only positive thing that could come from this is if ESPN deemed the ACC so much of a joke that they decide to fire Heather Dinich.
Our Game: Josh Parsell said everything my heart felt on his blog. Check it out. It’s time for basketball and I thank the lord baby jesus-tom-cruise for that. Amen.

My talents will be used in other forms as conference play of the basketball season warms up, and I humbly submit my greater-than-everyone-else’s-knowledge-on-the-BATR-team of the game of basketball to analysis articles and the hating of Victor Davila and will retire my comedic/useless football posts until spring game rolls around. More on this later, in case you were looking for an excuse for the lack of posts as of late, well, we don’t have one. Don’t worry, we plan on firing 80% of our writing staff right after Holiday bonuses go out.
Today we suffered a terrible casualty on the campus that we love so much. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family of the officer and all of those affected. We invite everyone to wear their hokie colors tomorrow to show the world (unfortunately) again, that we are the Hokie Nation, one that is united and strong.

Well maybe a few more days than advertised but thats what it feels like. I don’t think that anyone really needs a recap of the game or whatever you want to call what was going on in the second half saturday night.
In other news; we get to play MICHIGAN in the SUGAR BOWL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But more on that after some research.
In other other news; Congrats to the Big East for adding some teams. In case you haven’t heard (spoiler alert) below is what the Big East will look like in the next year or two.
How exciting! I’m sure kids getting recruited in Southern California, Texas and Florida can’t be more excited to get to play games in Idaho, Connecticut, North Jersey and Cinciltucky.
I am officially starting the rumor that in order for the Big East to obtain 12 football members, they have contacted Colegio Simon Bolivar Galicia in Cuidad Juarez who have one of the best futbol teams east of El Paso (its the same thing right?). Also, contact has been made to Universite Laval in Quebec City, Quebec. The Rouge et Or have won 3 of the past Varnier Cups and a dominant force in Canadian College Football, and they only speak French! The real question is, why didn’t they get a BCS bid?
